Destiny is a certified speech-language pathologist by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Destiny is passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and their families by providing neurodiversity-affirming, child-led therapy using a play-based and strengths-based approach.

As an NLA-trained clinician, Destiny specializes in supporting gestalt language processors who communicate using echolalia or scripting by utilizing the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Framework to promote the development of self-generated language. She is also dedicated to supporting complex communicators who may have difficulty accessing speech or “mouth words” by incorporating Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to encourage autonomous and authentic communication.
